Taking care of your MerryMicrofiber products is pretty easy!

There are just a few things that you should remember to keep your products effective and long lasting. You can wash and dry your microfiber products in your household washer and dryer, with warm/hot water and low/med heat or line dry them.

To keep your microfiber "like new"

• Do not use Bleach
• Do not use Fabric Softener
• Do not wash with other cotton or terry products, to keep them lint free
• Never iron microfiber blend cloth
• Keep them rinsed out well after using to remove dirt, soap and grime from within the fibers

Microfiber products do not like bleach, bleach breaks down the polyester and polyamide micro-filaments, rendering them less effective. Fabric softeners provide a layer of "softness" on your clothing, which is nice for the clothing you wear, but this coating clogs the microfibers, and reduces their static properties. Microfiber will attract and hold the lint from cotton and terry, plugging up the fibers, so it is best not to wash microfiber with cotton products.

While cleaning I just rinse my cloth in some water, wring it out and continue cleaning. If it gets really dirty then I rinse it in some dish soap and hot water, the hot water causes the fibers to swell forcing out the dirt. When finished I wash it with my regular laundry. Wash all your microfiber in hot water and mild detergent before your first use to remove any residue left on the microfiber during the manufacturing process and this will also help to plump up the fibers. Wash the dark colored cloths separate at first, as some will bleed color for the first number of washings.

For stubborn spots in your cloth, place the rag in a bowl of hot water and heat well in your microwave. Then using a small brush, lightly scrub the affected area and wash and dry as usual. I have personally used "Concentrated Shout" on my microfiber to remove stains. Also you can soak them in Oxy-Boost and hot water for 1/2 hour.

Unlike cotton that gets "stiff" when you line dry, microfiber maintains its soft quality, which your family will really appreciate; having those nice and soft towels and clothes instead of stiff ones.
