A microfiber baby product such as a microfiber hypoallergenic suede or terry baby burp cloth is a more efficient burp cloth than a cotton cloth, because of their greater absorbability. Microfiber will hold more liquid inside the cloth than a similiar cotton cloth, saving you on cloths and laundering. By folding the cloth in 4ths, then in 4ths again, gives you 8 wiping surfaces.

This new technology of the microfiber fabric absorbs by capillary action, pulling the liquid deep into the tiny spaces between the threads. This not only helps to wicks moisture away from the skin but also aids to speed up the drying process markedly during laundry. Microfiber of today is a much softer polyester product than you were familiar with from the past.
