Happy St. Patrick's Day, a truly "green" holiday!

March is a time of spring, birds began to sing their spring songs, flowers began to emerge out of the ground, many animals have their young in the spring. Spring is a time of rebirth and new life. A time to get reenergized after the long winter. The world starts turning green again.

Spring also can be a time to clean, a time to get more organized, a time to "air out" the house, like the old timers. A time to begin putting away the heavier items from winter for the lighter items of summer.

Are you or do you have a member of your family who, leaves "dabs" in bottles, but won't throw them away, because they aren't empty. When I got married to my bachelor husband, I found lots of bottles with small amounts in each. We either used them up or they got ditched. That is one way to help to eliminate clutter, encourage family to finish off bottles and then recycle the bottle if you can do so. Sometimes if you don't like the product, but as in one of the comments, give it to a friend who likes that product or to a shelter, who needs hygiene products.

Sometimes, we need to think, do I really need "6" kinds of shampoo. Be aware of the chemicals you are adding to your body and environment with the types of shampoo, conditioners, facial creams, hand creams etc. that you are using everyday. Use earth friendly hygiene products like Hands-Free Hand Soap and Hair & Body Wash today.

Also it is important to use earth friendly products when spring cleaning your house, office or RV and microfiber is a great product to help you reduce the amount of cleaners you use. Microfiber works great with a vinegar solution for cleaning as well.

Wash your windows with just microfiber and water. If they are really grimy, add some vinegar to hot water for some grease cutting power.

Clean your vinyl siding with a microfiber cloth and either Oxy-Boost Oxygen Cleaner or Exterior PROx-Deck & Patio Cleaner (and your decks too).

Vacuum your heat registers out to help them function better.

Vacuum off the coils on your refrigerator, to help keep it running more efficiently.

Wash your walls with vinegar, hot water and a microfiber cloth, or just water and a microfiber cloth.

Microfiber mops and duster are awesome for cleaning the floors, fans or getting under your bookcases, dressers and stove or high up in the corners.

Using microfiber is an earth friendly way to clean, plus it helps to speed up the job with its dirt grabbing ability!
