For Microfiber Does It Better!

September 2008

Featured Items For The Month Of September:

Our daughter is due with her second child this month, so we are going to feature our microfiber baby products, and with the little ones going back to school, you may have lunches now to pack, and need a dish cloth for quick kitchen cleanup. To help you get those kids off to school and maybe you off to work quickly, we are going to feature our microfiber dish cloths this month – for fast cleanup in the kitchen.

Want A Healthier Baby?

Want a healthier baby, be a healthier mom! The Environmental Working Group found out that there can be 200 household chemicals and pollutants in a baby’s umbilical blood. That is allot of chemicals affecting your baby before it is even born.  Ways to be healthier:

  • Eat organic fruits and vegetables when available.
  • Wash other fruits and vegetables with a vegetable wash before eating.
  • Peeling the fruits/vegetable before eating can remove some of the toxins that are coating the skin.
  • Use microfiber cleaning cloths and towels, you can clean without chemicals.
  • Do not smoke.
  • Limit your alcohol intake.
  • Use food grade vitamins, starting even before you want to become pregnant.
  • Do not use addicting drugs.
  • Exercise.
  • Use regular soap over antimicrobial soap (pesticide in antimicrobial soap has been found in breast milk)

Microfiber products are great for the care of your baby. They are soft and super absorbent. Wrap your baby in the hooded 20” x 40” bath towel to quickly dry them off and keep them warm after their bath. Microfiber diapers are more absorbent than cotton, so you may not have to double or triple diaper as with the same weight cotton diapers. Microfiber will hold up to 7 times its own weight in liquids. A 16” x 16” microfiber diaper will hold 12 oz of liquid without dripping, also makes an absorbent burp cloth. The 12” x 12” folded in three’s, works well for a diaper insert. Need something more at night in your baby’s diaper, add one of these.  Microfiber cloth diapers are more cost efficient than disposables, and healthier for your baby. It has been found that sterility in men has been linked with raising a boy in disposable diapers.  The 8” x 8” soft, suede microfiber baby wash cloths are just the right size to hold in your hand to wash up your baby, plus they are non-scratching with their non-sewed edges.  Do you need burp cloths or does a friend or relative needs some burp cloths? We have suede ones or terry ones. Both are super absorbent, just fold, fold again and you will have 8 different surfaces to use to wipe your baby. Throw one over your shoulder to collect those “spit-up” while burping. The suede comes in a pretty green and the terry come in 5 different colors. These also could be used as a diaper if the need would arise, and you find yourself suddenly short on diapers. They dry quickly so could be reused sooner than a cotton burp cloth. All of these items make great gifts for new moms, or just anyone with a baby. Give some for your next baby shower gift!

Microfiber dish cloths make quick work of cleaning up your kitchen! They are great at picking up crumbs, off the counters, wiping up grease, spills etc. on the counters or appliances. If you have stainless steel appliances, microfiber dish cloths do the trick for getting them sparkling clean quickly. A friend used them and thought they worked like magic; she could get rid of the stainless steel cleaner and paper towels. Now she could just wipe them and walked away.

Testimonials

The bath towels are super absorbent, soft and light weight, which makes them very easy to use. An added bonus - they are thin enough to easily hang on a hook instead of a towel bar. Nice product, at a nice price. Donna W.

I love your towels and cloths! Thank you! The 20's x 40's work fine for wrapping my hair after a shower. I was afraid they would be a few inches too short, but they aren't. Karen Slater of St. George, Utah.

I had ordered 2 microfiber waffle weave towel sets (European Spa sets) for a vacation. Well, I have to tell you, those towels were perfect for the trip. They were just the right size and dried quickly. My trip was to Roatan off the Honduras, and it consisted of kayaking, snorkeling and taking lots of pictures. Kathy Shoaf
